General Data Protection Regulation
Any data or photographs we hold as a company will require consent from the individual. The data we hold will never be shared unless consent has been received and in the case of children parental consent is required.
· All personal data is kept safe and secure.
· No personal data is disclosed either verbally or in writing to any unauthorised third party.
· Every individual has the right for their data to be erased.
· Any data protection breaches are dealt with immediately by the managing director.
If at any time coaches wish to use photographic or video equipment, parents and children will be made aware that that it is part of the coaching programme and how the footage will be used and stored. Parents of the child will need to give permission.
Safeguarding
This policy applies to all employees of Westcarr Coaching. Everyone who comes in contact with children and their families has a role to play in safeguarding children.
The purpose of this policy is to:
• Protect children and young people who attend our coaching sessions.
• Outline the procedures to be followed in cases of suspected safeguarding concerns.
• Prevent unsuitable people working with children and young people.
• Promote safe practice and challenge poor, unsafe practice.
• Contribute to effective partnership working between parents and all those involved with providing services for children and young people.
